Douglas Ross Scott

Doug Scott, 68 of Chatham, Ontario passed away peacefully, April  23, 2024, in his sleep after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Son of the late Donald & Catharine (Laley) Scott, Doug was born  February 27, 1956 in Windsor, Ontario. After Doug graduated from  Massey Secondary School he went on to study Motive Power Technology at St. Clair College. In 1991, Doug met his beloved  wife Elaine and together merged 2 families to build an abundant  life full of love. In 2008 Doug retired and spent his time  “puttering around the house” and loved nothing else more than  spending time with his family.
Doug is survived by his wife Elaine Scott and his children Chris  Scott (Ang), Jesse Garbutt, Victoria Dew (Mark VanLammeren),  Trish Scott (Rich Chau) Madyson Dittmer, Myles Dittmer and his grandson Lukas Scott.
A Funeral Service will be held at  Arn Funeral Home, 193  Shackleton St.,  Dutton, (519-762-2416) on Saturday April 27 at  10:15 A.M.
Luncheon to follow at Knox Presbyterian Church at 162 Nancy St,  Dutton.
In memory of Doug  donations may  be made to the Heart and Stroke  Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
