Peter Warren Agar

Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital, London on Friday, February 23, 2024, in his 77th year. Beloved husband  of Patricia (Carey). Loving father of Catherine (Arjan) and David (Melissa) and proud grandfather of nine grandchildren; Aadyn,  Isaac, Jude, Meryl, Fiona, Anders, Sybil, River and Scarlett.  Dearly loved by Pat’s children, Jamie (Deanna) and Scott (Debbie) and six grandchildren. Brother of John Agar (Ida) and Mary-Margaret (late Bryan) Kenny.

Peter was a lifelong farmer, working with his dad and his  brother, John, for over fifty years. Peter was on the board of  the Elgin Federation of Agriculture for over twenty years and a  member of the Elgin Beef Farmers board. Peter also enjoyed road  trips with Pat to attend toy and tractor shows across Canada and  the United States .Peter loved his family, farming, his toys and anything John  Deere.
Visitation will be held Friday March 1 from 7:00 -9:00 pm at Arn  Funeral Home 193 Shackleton St . Dutton. (519-762-2416) where  the Funeral Service will be held Saturday March 2, 2024 at 2:00  pm.   Visitation 1 hr prior to the service. Private family  interment Cowal-McBride Cemetery. In memory of Peter donations to 4H Ontario or Indwell appreciated by the family.

The Agar family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Strathroy Middlesex General  Hospital and Victoria Hospital for their attentive and  compassionate care.
