Whitney Marie McWilliam obituary
Whitney Marie McWilliam passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Victoria Hospital on April 11, 2024 in her 38th year. Loving mother to her 5 month old son, Fynn Cameron Jack Simioni and survived by Fynn’s father, Ryan Simioni. Beautiful daughter to Anne Marie and Cameron. Loving sister to Morgan (Jessica), Molly, and Malcolm (Shivani). Proud aunt to Liam, James, Grace, and Owen. Survived by grandparents Margaret and Peter Bolland; predeceased by Maribelle and John (Stuart) McWilliam. Survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins from the McWilliam and Bolland families.
She was a hardworking and respected program adviser on risk management and conflict of interest at the Ontario Provincial Police headquarters and, previous to that, executive assistant to Jeff Yurek, former MPP Elgin-Middlesex-London.
A very special thank you to all the healthcare staff on the chemotherapy, oncology and general surgery floors of LHSC, Oakville, and Strathroy hospitals. In particular, Drs. Breadner, Ott, Gray, Malik, Walji, Arya, and Gomes. We are thankful for all the kindness and compassion shown to Whitney and our family throughout her cancer treatment.
Celebration of life is to be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (128 Main Street, West Lorne, ON) on Saturday April 20th at 11am. Reception with eulogy to follow the celebration at St. Mary’s Church Hall (132 Main Street, West Lorne, ON) at 12pm.
